1. Our Commitment to Child Safety

asQkme is committed to protecting the safety and well-being of children on our platform. We take our responsibility to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) seriously and have implemented comprehensive policies, procedures, and safeguards to address these critical issues.

This page outlines our standards and practices regarding child safety, including our policies against child sexual abuse and exploitation, our mechanisms for reporting concerns, and our commitment to addressing child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

2. Standards Against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE)

2.1 Zero Tolerance Policy

asQkme maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). CSAE refers to any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children, including but not limited to:

  • Grooming a child for sexual exploitation
  • Sextorting a child
  • Trafficking of a child for sex
  • Any other form of sexual exploitation of a child
  • Creating, sharing, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

2.2 Prohibited Content and Behavior

The following content and behaviors are strictly prohibited on asQkme:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any visual depiction, including photos, videos, or computer-generated imagery, involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct is illegal and strictly prohibited.
  • Grooming Behavior: Any attempt to build trust with a child for the purpose of sexual exploitation, abuse, or trafficking.
  • Sexual Solicitation of Minors: Any attempt to solicit sexual content, sexual acts, or sexual contact from a minor.
  • Sharing Explicit Content with Minors: Sharing sexually explicit content with or directing such content toward minors.
  • Exploitation of Minors: Any form of sexual exploitation, abuse, or endangerment of children.

2.3 Age Restrictions and Verification

asQkme requires users to be at least 13 years old to create an account and use our Service. We take steps to verify user age and may require proof of age at any time. Users who misrepresent their age or are found to be under the minimum age requirement will have their accounts immediately terminated, and their information will be deleted in accordance with applicable law.

If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use our Service.

3. In-App Reporting Mechanisms

asQkme provides multiple in-app mechanisms for users to report concerns about child safety, inappropriate content, or suspicious behavior. These mechanisms are available within the app and do not require users to leave the application.

3.1 Reporting Features

Users can report concerns through the following in-app mechanisms:

  • Content Reporting: Users can report inappropriate content, including polls, comments, or user profiles, directly from within the app.
  • User Reporting: Users can report other users who engage in suspicious, harmful, or inappropriate behavior.
  • In-App Support: Users can access our in-app support system to report child safety concerns or other issues.
  • Direct Contact: Users can contact our child safety team directly through the in-app contact mechanism or by emailing our designated child safety point of contact.

3.2 How to Report

If you encounter content or behavior that violates our Child Safety Standards or involves CSAE or CSAM:

  1. Use the reporting features available within the asQkme app
  2. Provide as much detail as possible about the content or behavior
  3. Include any relevant screenshots or evidence
  4. Contact our child safety point of contact immediately if the situation involves immediate danger to a child

3.3 Our Response

We take all reports of child safety concerns seriously and will:

  • Review all reports promptly and thoroughly
  • Take immediate action to remove prohibited content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate our policies
  • Report suspected CSAM to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement
  • Cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations
  • Preserve evidence as required by law

4. Addressing Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

4.1 Definition of CSAM

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) consists of any visual depiction, including but not limited to photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. CSAM is illegal and strictly prohibited on asQkme.

4.2 Our Approach to CSAM

When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM on our platform, we take immediate and appropriate action, including:

  • Immediate Removal: We immediately remove any CSAM content from our platform upon discovery.
  • Account Termination: We permanently ban users who post, share, or distribute CSAM.
  • Law Enforcement Reporting: We report all instances of CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law enforcement agencies in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Evidence Preservation: We preserve evidence as required by law to support law enforcement investigations.
  • Cooperation: We fully cooperate with law enforcement and regulatory authorities in their investigations.

4.3 Content Moderation

While we provide reporting mechanisms and take action on reported content, we do not monitor all content in real-time. We rely on our community of users to report inappropriate content and behavior. However, we are committed to reviewing all reports promptly and taking appropriate action in accordance with our published standards and applicable laws.

5. Compliance with Child Safety Laws

asQkme complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:

  • The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
  • Laws prohibiting the creation, distribution, or possession of child sexual abuse material
  • Laws requiring reporting of suspected child sexual abuse to appropriate authorities
  • International laws and regulations related to child protection

We work closely with law enforcement and child protection organizations to ensure compliance and to support investigations into child sexual abuse and exploitation.
